Nottingham Indymedia are committed to the principle that information should be available to all. We have designed this website so that it can be used by anybody.
We have tested the site on various browsers and operating systems.
If you find that text is too small you can change the text size using your browser (the programme you use to access the internet). We have provided instructions on changing the text size.
If you are having problems with the main site, you may want to try out the mobile version of the website. This has the same content, but less graphics and a simplified interface.
If you do find any part of the site is inaccessible, please email us at notts [at] indymedia.org (note: we've swapped the @ for [at] to confound spammers) with details so we can investigate and try and improve things.
One area where we have failed to live up to our aspirations is the use of a Captcha. Captchas is the messed up words which are used on websites to stop spammers, unfortunately they can also cause problems for blind, visually impaired and dyslexic users. We currently use these on:
- Printed media publish page.
- Tumbles publish page.
- Account registration.
If you want to avoid seeing this, you can do so by registering an account and logging in when you want to publish.
We realise this is not an ideal situation and hope to replace the Captcha with something better.
