On Thursday March 8th NSN took part in its first action. 18 people assembled in town at lunchtime hoping to collectively present a demand from an ex tenant to his landlord for the full repayment of a wrongfully withheld deposit. UPDATE: The space has been evicted but will continue at the Sumac Centre.
An occupied autonomous space has been opened in Nottingham. The free space, at the former Conservative Social Club on Church Street in Lenton, is intended as a space to plan and discuss ways of supporting the strike on November 30th, as well as the wider anti-cuts campaign and other movements for radical social change.

I haven't been able to get the full story yet but it seems that around 30 protesters occupied the Nottingham Atos medical assessment centre shortly after 12pm today in protest at the company's role in forcing people with medical conditions into work. "THERE were emotional scenes in Nottingham's Old Market Square yesterday as hundreds of protesters gathered to express their concern about the political situation in Libya.
